1) OBJECTIVE OF THE DEPARTMENT

Through the implementation of the various provision of the Labour Acts and the Rules in industrial establishments including small industries, shops and Establishments, the weakest action of the society i,e the working population may be given safe-guard from social evils like exploitation by the so-called employers. This is the objective of the department.

There is no scheme to be implemented. Activities of the Department is to enforce the provision of the Labour Acts and the Rules

Our duty is to see the welfare of the working population . Provision of payment of Wages Acts 1936. Minimum Wages Act 1948, Payment of Gratuity Act 1972, Maternity Benefit Act 1961, Payment of Bonus Act 1965. Industrial Disputs Act 1947, Equal Remuneration Act 1976 may be treated as the platform for the Welfare of the working people.
