OFFICE OF THE SUB-DIVISIONAL INFORMATION & PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER,HAILAKANDI.

 Office of the Sub-Divisional Information and Public Relations Officer (SDI&PRO) was established in Hailakandi in 1963 with Kabin Bora as its first SDI&PRO. At present the office functions from the first floor of District Library at Sardar Patel Road near Hailakandi Circuit House. The office in mandated to look after the publicity work of the district by being an interface between the District Administration and Press. Moreover, the office also works as a link between the administration and public by deciphering news and information of the Government in general and administration in particular. Presently the office has installed several Fixed Loud Speakers in Hailakandi Town and many Gaon Panchayats and serving the information hungry people of the district through a perfect PR orientation.

The office has strength of five permanent employees and one temporary employee whose names along with designation are given below:
